The movies are a bit shaky being shot ‘on the hoof’ as it were as I walked around guided by the proprietor, Mr Boy.

Rather, they do give a good impression of the mass of machine tools available in this factory. Alongside some brand new CNC machines, there are some milling machines more than 100 years old:-

These movies only show about 10% of the whole building. It stretches back ‘for miles# and has just about every kind of manufacturing and fabrication facility you could wish for.

EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining (AKA ‘Wire’)

I am mentioning EDM because a) I have found it to be a superb process (far better than water, plasma or laser) cutting and b) I have had many parts cut by Teera Borigaan both for my own projects and for others.

The most attractive features to me of EDM are it’s accuracy and superior finish and it can cut any shape that CAD can draw (e.g. gears and splines) including very sharp corners. There is no heating and no tapering of cut edges.

Will Teera Borgaan Undertake My Job?

Most likely. Just look at the work they have undertaken for me as depicted above. And that is only a fraction of the work they have done for me.

They also do work for overseas clients. I have seen boxes of CNC parts they machined for a client in the USA.

This tells me that not only do they welcome overseas customers they must be competitive enough to out-price USA based shops when shipping costs are factored in.

Not only does Pakchong Teera Borigaan have impressive machining and fabrication facilities they also offer an enormous rage of materials and components. If you can’t get it here and Teera can’t get it for you then you probably can’t get it in Thailand!
